What I do
I am a consultant with a passion for getting the right things done. My main obsession over the past few years was working with business people to discover, formulate, and prioritize their needs that have impact on their software requirements. I’ve been fortunate to work with talented developers to design software that implements those requirements in a meaningful way.
I entered the adult world in 1999 when I quit my otherwise prospering career as a violist to pursue my love affair with software. It has lasted to this day. I’ve worked with clients in Financial Services and Telco; the latter gets more and more attention from my lately.
I’ve focused a lot on CRM as I used to be involved in Siebel and Microsoft CRM implementations. Over the past two years I’ve investigated convergence between CRM and Social Media, or Web 2.0: not from a technical perspective but rather as a trend that enables companies to have more meaningful relationships with their customers, partners, and internally as well. I’ve spoken on these topics on several occasions.
This year, I have also launched a microISV with an on-demand business productivity application aiming at helping businesses act on the right things - Playground. I want to provide small businesses with requirements management capabilities that just work; enterprises have been doing this for years, but also with a lot of unnecessary overhead.
I am available for consulting engagements worldwide.
